A healthcare provider in Selangor is seeking a qualified individual to assist in patient care, inventory management, and coordinating clinic operations. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, recording patient vital signs, guiding patients, and managing appointments. Ideal candidates will have a Certificate/Diploma in health science, excellent communication skills, and a customer-service orientation. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive patient experience and smooth clinic operations.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring that all medical equipment and supplies are stocked and sanitized.
Guide patients to consultation and treatment rooms and provide comfort and reassurance during their visit.
Take and record patient vital signs (e.g., temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight) under the direction of medical staff.
Chaperone healthcare professionals during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments when necessary.
Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and expiry.
Assist in the processing of medical billing, insurance verification, and co-payment collection.
Coordinate with the clinic's laundry service or manage on-site washing and drying of linens.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens, towels, patient gowns, and drapes, ensuring that there is always an adequate supply on hand.
Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information about clinic services and policies.
Schedule patient appointments, manage cancellations, and reschedule as needed.
Perform any other duties as required and instructed by superior on a timely and efficient manners.
