You will:

1. Tax Compliance
   • Assist in preparing timely and accurate ANZ GST returns
   • Conduct monthly Australian and quarterly New Zealand Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) analysis
   • Maintain quarterly fixed assets tax depreciation schedules
   • Support annual income tax return analysis
   • Support cash tax forecast and raise payment vouchers timely
   • Manage export control documentation and reconciliations
   • Maintain tax related trend analysis by using Power BI
   • Ensure proper documentation in line with local tax regulation
2. Process Automation
   • Identify and support automation opportunities in collaboration with the wider Tax team
   • Drive improvements in tax filing and reporting using tools
3. Tax Audits & Controversies
   • Support the ANZ Tax team in handling tax audits, inquiries, and disputes
   • Contribute to audit readiness tasks such as Revenue and Opex reconciliations
4. Ad hoc
   • Provide assistance on various tax-related projects and initiatives as needed

Essential Requirements

• 4 years+ of related experience in a large MNC and/or a CPA firm with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Taxation;
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

• Enthusiastic about learning and applying automation tools (i.e. Alteryx & Python etc.)
