Are you a driven recruiting professional with deep expertise in data centre and technology hiring across Southeast Asia? We are seeking an experienced Talent Advisor to join our team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, supporting technical recruitment across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source top talent: Proactively identify and engage candidates for critical data centre and technology roles using innovative sourcing strategies—social media, networking events, job boards, and employee referrals.
  • Regional partnership: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and build customized sourcing strategies, leveraging your market knowledge of Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
  • Build strong pipelines: Maintain and develop talent pipelines across the region to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Hyperscaler expertise preferred: Candidates with experience recruiting for hyperscaler data centres are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Stakeholder management: Demonstrate exceptional influencing and negotiation skills with internal customers and global business partners.
  • Presentation & reporting: Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to business stakeholders, delivering market insights and talent trends.
  • Employer branding: Champion employer branding initiatives across digital and social media channels, including content creation tailored for the Southeast Asia market.
  • Compliance focus: Ensure all recruitment processes align with company policies, data privacy regulations, and local labor laws.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years’ hands‑on technical recruiting experience, preferably with direct exposure to data center, cloud, and other niche technology roles in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
  • Regional expertise: Demonstrated track record hiring within Southeast Asia, with an understanding of market, cultural, and regulatory differences.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Proven ability to build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Talent strategy: Strong experience in talent pipelining, market mapping, and digital talent engagement (e.g., social sourcing, employer branding).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Organizational skills: Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment, consistently delivering high‑quality outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior recruiting experience with a leading technology, digital, or multinational enterprise, especially in product‑based or cloud infrastructure environments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of recruitment compliance, data privacy, and best practices specific to the region.
  • Familiarity with hyperscaler hiring and large‑scale data centre recruitment.
