Our Singapore team seeks to recruit a Tax Associate/Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic and enthusiastic Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3) team.

About the role

As a Tax Associate/Senior Tax Associate in our Singapore Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3) team you will:

  • Provide Incentives and R&D advisory services to a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries.
  • Engage with senior executives on their investment plans and liaise with government authorities on incentives matters.
  • Be involved in the preparation, application, negotiation and management of government incentives.
  • Participate actively in client meetings to obtain details from technical specialists of R&D projects undertaken.
  • Assist with the collection, collation and review of documentation and expenditure that substantiates R&D activities by matching the facts to the eligibility requirements of Singapore’s R&D tax incentive program.
  • Prepare R&D reports that articulate the nature and progress of R&D activities undertaken, including how and why these meet the R&D tax eligibility requirements.
  • Partake in the development of a growing global practice.

About your experience
  • You will possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Engineering, Science, IT or similar.
  • Professional Qualification in Finance preferred.
  • Prior experience in Singapore economic agencies or roles involving incentives/grants applications will be viewed favourably.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mind, meticulous skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Keen interest in developing in the tax industry in a professional services firm.
