A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to resolve customer engineering production test program issues and provide application consultation for Memory test systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience, programming skills in C/C++/Java, and experience in semiconductor IC testing. Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience of 7 years or more.
• Programming experience in C/C++/Java is required.
• Experience in semiconductor IC testing field is preferred.
• Technical leadership with project management experience preferred.
• Able to resolve technical problems systematically.
• Communicates well in both written and spoken form.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in Digital/SOC or Memory testing on ATE systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated project management and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customers' engineering production test program issues to minimize test system down-time.
• Provide application consultation for Memory test systems during various phases of the sales process.
• Work with Technical Experts and R&D to deliver leading-edge testing solutions.
• Deliver optimal test-cell solutions including loadboard/probe card design and benchmark.
• Provide customer training and specialized training for engineers in South East Asia.
• Travel within and outside Malaysia for critical projects or knowledge transfer.
• Act as the contact point for technical escalation and coordinate with counterparts.

Job description

Overview

Resolving customer’s pre/post engineering production test program issues to minimize test system down-time and provide application consultation for Advantest’s Memory test systems to our customers during various phases of the sales process including requirements analysis, feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation.

1. Work together with Advantest’s Technical Experts and R&D in providing and implementing the leading-edge testing solutions to customers in the testing for their Memory devices.
2. Deliver the best test-cell solution which includes loadboard / probe card design, test program development and benchmark to customers.
3. May need to deliver customer training classes and specialized training for our customers’ engineers with South East Asia region.
4. May need to travel within and outside Malaysia, for critical projects or knowledge transfer for our customers.
5. Acting as the contact point for technical escalation as well as coordinating with local and overseas counterparts in resolving major issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience 7 years above.
• Programming experience in writing software program in (C/C++/Java) is required.
• Related experience in semiconductor IC testing field is preferred.
• Technical leadership couple with project management experience would be preferred.
• Able to resolve technical problem systemically.
• Communicates well in both written and spoken form.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in Digital/SOC or Memory testing on ATE systems but training will be provided.
• Demonstrated project management, good troubleshooting and strong structured problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with good working attitude and excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with all levels in the customer environments.
