ROLE OVERVIEW

CTOS is seeking a System Analyst to join the Development Team. This person will be a passionate, hard-working professional with proven analytical, problem solving, strong critical thinking, and technical skills, with ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The purpose of the position is to fill up the gap between analyst work and development work by gathering and receiving technical information from internal and external team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Troubleshoot system issues and propose effective solutions or workarounds.
  • Develop and maintain structured system documentation.
  • Manage system issues and error logs, implementing both quick fixes and permanent solutions.
  • Gather business requirements, make technical recommendations and communicate stakeholders’ needs to technical teams.
  • Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and coordinate with upstream and downstream teams.
  • Prioritize and manage both recurring tasks and one-off projects efficiently.
  • Independently handle tasks and projects, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Stay updated with current technical knowledge and industry trends.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Qualification
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Work Experience
  • At least 8 years of experience working with multiple systems across various industries, ranging from small-scale to large-scale solutions.
  • Experience in understanding and designing systems.
  • Previous experience setting up and documenting systems with a wide range of technical skills and knowledge.
  • Experience handling both modern and legacy systems.
  • Strong familiarity with development and database technologies.
  • Proven experience in recommending, sourcing, assessing, and evaluating technologies or frameworks for specific projects.
  • Experience working with microservices architecture and applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and applications, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Linux, Java, Tomcat, JBoss, or Apache is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrable teamwork skills, working effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Customer-focused with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa, both written and spoken.
