Job summary

A technology solutions company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced ICT system analyst. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in the Banking and Finance domain. Responsibilities include specifying system needs, liaising between teams, and providing user training. Strong verbal and written communication in English and Vietnamese is required. Job description
Overview

ICT system analysts specify the system needs to meet the end user requirements. They analyse system functions in order to define their goals or purposes and to discover operations and procedures for accomplishing them most efficiently. They also design new IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity, produce outline designs and estimate costs of new systems, specify the operations the system will perform, and the way data will be viewed by the end user. They present the design to the users and work closely with the users to implement the solution.

Job Description
  1. Requirement & Stakeholder Management
  2. To liaise between multi-disciplined teams comprising of Business, Project Management, Software Development, Third Party Partners etc.
  3. To coordinate meetings, workshops, demonstration, and review session between the project team members and stakeholders
  4. To facilitate communication between the team members and other stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and feedback loops.
  5. Documentation
  6. To develop Business Requirements Specification (BRS), Functional Specifications Document (FSD), Use Case, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, User Manual, and other relevant project documentation.
  7. To maintain and update the document repository, ensuring that all project artifacts, documentation, and models are current and accessible.
  8. To assist technical team in documenting the solution artifacts, if any.
  9. Functional and Technical Analysis
  10. To serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  11. To analyse the design of technical systems and business models.
  12. To source and implement new business technology.
  13. To source technological solutions to business requirements.
  14. Training and Support
  15. To provide training and support to end-users during the implementation phase and post-implementation support as needed.
  16. To conduct knowledge transfer sessions to customers as well as internal staff.
  17. Project Involvement and Continuous Improvement
  18. To produce reports on application development and implementation.
  19. To participate and contribute towards the company’s efforts in implementing good project management practices.
  20. To utilize IT data for business insights and analysing business needs.
Job Requirements
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in a relevant technical field.
  2. At least 4 years of working experience in related field.
  3. Experience in Banking, Finance Service and Insurance domain is a must.
  4. Familiarity with e-Invoicing business process workflow.
  5. Capability to translate the e-Invoicing business process to system flow chart, and map the flow with various dimension of business nature.
  6. Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Visio and PL/SQL
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Vietnamese is a must.
  8. Exposure of below technical domain and experience would be added advantage.
    • a. Various Java frameworks: Grails, Structs, Spring Boot, Ionic
    • b. Server technologies: IBM WAS, Red Hat JBoss, Tomcat, Apache
    • c. Web technologies: Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery Mobile, VueJS, AngularJS, Node JS, XML
    • d. CSS3, HTML5, SOAP/RESTful web services, React.
    • e. Database technologies: Oracle, MySQL, DB2 with SQL/PL-SQL programming
    • f. Mobile application technologies: Flutter, Ionic
    • g. Clouds implementation with AWS / AliCloud / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, NoSQL
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  10. Preferably Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent, however Senior Executives are encouraged to apply.
