Job description

Join Texas Instruments as a Sustaining Test Engineer to implement cost‑effective testing and collaborate across teams for quality improvement in Melaka, Malaysia.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Debug characterizing silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench data
• Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis tasks
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues, and optimize test time
• Work with production team to release products to volume production
• Conduct silicon qualification and characterization including qual hardware development
• Perform comprehensive device debugging, design validation, and failure analysis
• Drive robust and cost‑effective test solutions while ensuring product quality
• Collaborate with AE team for customer return and ATE actions such as TCI
• Work with design team to understand design specifications
• Generate test plans, create test and characterization programs, and design ATE hardware interface boards

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics background
• Cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 or higher
• Fresh graduates or less than 2 years working experience
• Proficiency in C++ programming is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English are a plus
• Willingness to learn different test methodologies
• Self‑motivation, out‑of‑the‑box thinking, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Experience with Oscilloscope, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers is a plus
• Highly dynamic, results‑oriented, and self‑motivated personality able to work with minimal direction
