Qualifications

Prime Land Consultants – Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our team and support our Australian surveying operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse land surveying projects while collaborating with an experienced international team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate 2D plans and drawings using data collected from Land Surveyors
  • Provide drafting support to our Australian surveying team across multiple projects
  • Utilise 3D point cloud technology to create detailed plans and models
  • Draft cadastral plans in accordance with surveying standards and regulations
  • Ensure all plans meet quality standards and comply with relevant specifications
  • Collaborate effectively with surveyors and team members across different time zones
  • Maintain organised project files and documentation
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or degree in Drafting, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in CAD drafting, preferably in land surveying or civil engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, LisCAD and other relevant drafting software
  • Experience working with 3D point cloud data and processing software
  • Knowledge of cadastral surveying principles and plan preparation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal – Minimum Grade 4 on MUET)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working with Australian team members and time zones
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting Australian or international surveying teams
  • Familiarity with Australian surveying standards and practices
  • Knowledge of point cloud processing software (e.g., Pix4D, ReCap, Copre, Cyclone 360)
