Job summary

A medical equipment company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a support specialist to provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and the ability to work independently. This role offers an excellent remuneration package, including performance incentives and medical benefits. The candidate should be prepared to travel and work irregular hours as required.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, demonstration, and training for customers.
  • Assist Registered Nurses and clinicians in the operating theatre.
  • Deliver, set up, and clean medical equipment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Job description

Provide technical support, demonstration, training, schedule and conduct in-service product presentations and training for new and existing customers.

Provide guidance to Registered Nurses and clinicians, and perform scrub functions, if necessary, while demonstrating a positive, and tactful response in the operating theatre during surgeries.

Responsible for delivering, setting up, and cleaning medical equipment, and correctly maintaining the company’s property.

Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Technical Competency and Self-Development
  • Possess knowledge of the procedures carried out in the operating room.
  • Possess complete and updated knowledge of all assigned product lines to answer questions, assist, and operate the products effectively.
Requirements
  • Candidates must possess, preferably Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills and fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work independently, must possess own car and be willing to travel
  • Candidates should be Malaysian.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and willing to accept responsibility
  • Be prepared to work extra hours as and when required
