A leading company in supply chain management seeks a Supply Chain Manager in Kuala Selangor. This role involves overseeing supply chain planning and execution, ensuring material availability and cost efficiency. You will coordinate between Sales, Production, and Warehouse teams to optimize logistics and inventory management. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning and execution, ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, service level performance, and compliance across procurement, planning, and logistics functions. The role works closely with the Warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy, FIFO/FEFO compliance, traceability, and smooth production and delivery flow.

The role works closely with the Warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy, FIFO/FEFO compliance, traceability, and smooth production and delivery flow.
Supply Chain Planning & Integration: Coordinate demand planning, production planning, and material planning to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Act as the central coordinator between Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Packing, QAQC, and Accounts.
Monitor supply chain performance and resolve cross-functional gaps impacting service level or cost.
Oversee procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect items.
Approve sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
Drive cost optimisation, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation.
Ensure purchasing compliance with ISO, HALAL, food safety, and internal control requirements.
Work closely with the Warehouse team to ensure:
FIFO / FEFO compliance
Stock accuracy and cycle counting
Traceability and proper material segregation
Review discrepancies and drive corrective actions jointly with Warehouse and QAQC.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics performance and costs.
Coordinate delivery schedules with Warehouse and Sales.
Ensure compliance with transportation, import/export, and customs regulations.
Identify and manage supply risks including supplier dependency, lead-time volatility, and logistics disruptions.
Develop contingency plans for critical materials and routes.
Lead cross-functional response during supply interruptions.
Ensure supply chain processes align with ISO, HALAL, food safety, and internal audit requirements.
Maintain proper planning, purchasing, and logistics documentation.
Support audits in collaboration with QAQC and Warehouse.
