A logistics solutions company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to plan and manage end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management and 3-5 years of experience. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics activities, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and liaising between stakeholders. Strong knowledge of SAP and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or costing.
Strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP.
Familiar with supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
Familiarity with HS code, customs procedures, government agencies rules & regulations is an added advantage.
Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics operations.
Ensure efficient order fulfilment, inventory control, cost optimisation, and compliance with trade regulations.
Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
Plan and coordinate logistics activities including import/export, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and local distribution to end customers, including returns handling.
Process customer purchase orders accurately, coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams, and monitor order status to ensure timely fulfilment.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners on order details, delivery schedules, and logistics arrangements.
Manage freight import operations and ensure compliance with customs, trade regulations, and company policies.
Monitor inventory movement, plan replenishment, and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain and review master data (material, vendor, pricing) in SAP/ERP systems to ensure data accuracy.
Implement cost control measures, conduct cost analysis, and support cost optimisation initiatives.
Support supply chain and procurement teams in purchasing activities, ad‑hoc logistics requirements, and other tasks assigned by management.
