Supply Chain Executive (Import/Export) - (FMCG based in Subang Jaya)

Our well-established client, a Japanese company that produces and distributes beverages, is looking for a dynamic and result‑oriented candidate for the position of Senior Supply Chain Executive to be based in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Responsibilities
  • Handle full export process (International & East Malaysia) from order confirmation to shipment delivery.
  • Prepare and manage commercial documents – invoice, packing list, COO, BL/AWB, Form E/D, health certificate, etc.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and warehouses to ensure timely export shipments.
  • Manage booking, container loading, and schedule planning for FCL/LCL shipments.
  • Liaise with customers, distributors, and regulatory bodies to resolve shipping or documentation issues.
  • Maintain accurate export shipment records and filing for audit and customs reference.
  • Monitor and track export performance, shipment cost, and delivery lead time.
  • Handle end‑to‑end import documentation and coordinate with suppliers and forwarders.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, ETD/ETA, and clearance status.
  • Work with custom brokers to ensure timely import clearance under correct HS Code classification.
  • Verify supplier invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Manage import permits, FTA/COO application, and duty exemption (if applicable).
  • Liaise with finance and warehouse teams for goods receipt and payment process.
  • Liaise with suppliers, coordinate & plan loading schedule for shipment purposes.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in export/import within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade documentation & INCOTERMS.
  • Familiar with HS codes, FTA/COO applications, and customs procedures.
  • Experience with forwarders, shipping portals, and export systems (DagangNet, EPCO, etc.).
  • Good communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle multiple shipments concurrently.
  • Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and shipment tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of beverage or food export regulations is an added advantage.
