Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Malaysia seeks a candidate for a contractual role to assist in the day-to-day operations of distribution and procurement. The role involves liaising with vendors and ensuring timely delivery of stocks, generating Purchase Orders, and managing inventory reports. Job description

This is a contractual position. Role is to assist in the day-to-day operations of distribution, and indirect procurement for Fresenius Medical Care Malaysia.

Accountabilities
  • Liaise with forwarding agents on all matters related to import and export shipments, ensuring timely coordination and resolution.
  • Generate Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors in accordance with supply planning timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and effective delivery of stocks for all purchase orders.
  • Perform all transactions in SAP accurately and within required timelines.
  • Support inventory management activities related to logistics and supply planning.
  • Liaise with 3PL providers on stock movements, including incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams on stock-related issues and operational requirements as needed.
  • Provide stock-related information and support to internal departments and regional offices when required.
  • Prepare and generate weekly Goods-in-Transit (GIT) reports and monthly stock aging reports.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience; exposure to the healthcare or regulated industry will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Contract extension is subject to business requirement.
