Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kedah, Alor Merah is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate and manage end-to-end supply chain activities. This includes procurement, production support, inventory control, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing cost, quality, and service levels. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor supply chain operations including sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, and delivery.
• Identify, source, and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable supply.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, correct quantities, and compliance with quality requirements.
• Support supplier negotiation activities including pricing, lead time, MOQ, and payment terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to support production schedules and material availability.
• Prepare purchase orders, delivery schedules, and shipping documentation.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and resolve delivery or supply issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems.
• Support cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and logistics optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare supply chain and sourcing reports (inventory, supplier performance, delivery, lead time, cost).
