Job summary

A prominent energy company in Kulim, Kedah is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee supplier quality management and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, experience in the automotive sector, and be familiar with ISO9001 and IATF16949. Strong communication skills in Mandarin, Malay, or English are necessary for liaising with suppliers. Responsibilities include conducting audits, training suppliers, and managing quality-related projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in automotive.
• Familiar with ISO9001, IATF16949 quality management system.
• Skillful in CP/8D/5Why/Cpk/Fishbone, knowledge in Six Sigma and Lean is a plus.
• Experience in quality or project management preferred.
• Good command of Mandarin, Malay or English.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality and improve processes.
• Train and counsel suppliers on quality-related issues.
• Supervise supplier quality with regular audits.
• Manage supplier-related information and industry status.
• Develop and qualify new suppliers.

EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd – Kulim, Kedah

Responsible for supplier quality management and continuous improvement, provide quality-related training and counseling to suppliers, if needed.

Responsible for non-conformity material follow up and supplier quality supervision and management, regular supplier audits (yearly audit / system & process & product audit etc.).

Responsible for the management of supplier-related information, to understand the quality of the industry status etc.

Participating in the selection and development and qualification of new suppliers.

Following up the APQP plan and PPAP of new projects.

Supervision and guidance of subordinates.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above, background in the automotive industry is preferred.

Being familiar with ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management system. Familiar with VDA6.3/6.5 is a plus。

Being skillful in the use of CP/8D/5Why/Cpk/fishbone, prefer to have the knowledge of 6sigma and lean.

Experience in quality management or project management, internal auditor of quality management system is preferred.

Good command of Mandarin, Malay or English( Need to liaise with the Chinese supplier)
