Chevron Malaysia Limited is accepting online applications for the position of Supervisor, Operations located in Prai Terminal, Malaysia through December 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Malaysia Time).

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily terminal operations including: Marine receipt operations: Receiving fuel products from vessels into storage tanks; Tank truck loading/unloading and bunkering operations
  • Ensure compliance with Control of Work (CoW), Managing Safe Work (MSW), and Permit-to-Work systems
  • Monitor product quality and inventory accuracy through gauging and sampling

Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE)

  • Implement and enforce HSSE standards, including Chevron’s Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS)
  • Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and ensure adherence to ISPS Code and local regulations
  • Lead emergency response drills and maintain readiness for incidents

Maintenance and Asset Integrity

  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for tanks, pipelines, pumps, and firefighting systems
  • Engage with Engineering team and SME on compliance with API & ASME standards and Reliability & Integrity programs (TIP, JIP, PIP)
  • Manage contractors for maintenance and turnaround activities

Compliance and Reporting

  • Maintain records for regulatory compliance (e.g., DOSH, DOE, Customs, Scheduled Waste Management)
  • Prepare and submit operational reports, KPI tracking, and incident investigations

Leadership and People Development

  • Supervise terminal operators and contractors, ensuring competency and adherence to procedures
  • Promote Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) culture and lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives for process optimization
  • Support CAPEX/OPEX projects and operational readiness reviews
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 to 6 years in terminal operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role or degree in any engineering field
Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
