Job summary

A food production company in Kota Bharu, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize daily production operations. The successful candidate will supervise production activities, ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards, manage inventory, and lead the production team. AI Niaga Venture Sdn. Bhd., the company behind Ayam Gepuk AG with over 40 outlets across the East Coast, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to support the company’s central kitchen/production operations and ensure consistent product quality for all outlets.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Monitor product quality, hygiene standards, and food safety compliance (SOPs)
  • Schedule production workflows and assign tasks to production staff
  • Ensure raw materials are available and inventory levels are well managed
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and outlet operations for stock distribution
  • Train, guide, and evaluate production team members
  • Solve operational issues and ensure timely delivery of products to outlets
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the production area
  • Prepare daily production reports and update management on performance
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related fields (preferred)
  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in production/central kitchen/F&B manufacturing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with HACCP, food handling, and hygiene standards is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet daily production deadlines
