Job summary

A leading agricultural company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced individual to provide guidance and advisory support on hive maintenance and improve post-harvest practices in honey production. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural operations and be knowledgeable in managing stingless bee production. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate stock records while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in agricultural operations or farm supervision.
• Experience in honey or agricultural production is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in crop handling and post-harvest processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to BAKAT members on hive maintenance.
• Maintain stock records related to honey collection.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Support downstream honey processing activities.

Job description

Provide guidance and advisory support to BAKAT members on hive maintenance and best post-harvest practices to ensure the production of high-quality honey.

Maintain accurate stock records and documentation related to honey collection.

Support downstream honey processing and production activities across the supply chain.

Ensure compliance with safety, biosecurity and environmental sustainability standards.

Support research and innovation in improving kelulut yield and efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum SPM or Diploma in a related field.

Has an experience in honey or agricultural production is preferred. Prior experience in related industries will be an advantage.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in agricultural operations, farm supervision or collection management.

Knowledge of stingless bee (kelulut) management.

Hands‑on experience in crop handling, harvesting and post‑harvest processes.

Physically fit, detail‑oriented and proactive fieldwork.

Good interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Ability to handle sensitive information securely and maintain confidentiality, adhering to privacy and data protection protocols.
