Job summary

A local park district in Subang Jaya is looking for a Camp Counselor for the summer season. The role involves supervising elementary children, assisting in activities, and ensuring a safe, fun environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience working with children. CPR certification is a plus. This is a seasonal position offering $15.00 per hour without benefits, with various shifts available Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2 years of experience working with children.
• Must be 16 years old to apply.
• A successful background check must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and ensure a fun and safe environment for children.
• Assist Lead Counselor(s) and Camp Manager with activities.
• Enforce camp rules and communicate with parents.
• Participate in all activities and field trips.

Skills

First Aid/CPR certified

Valid Driver’s License

Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage multiple children's needs

Ability to engage and manage children in group activities

Education

High School diploma
