Qualifications

• Proven track record in deal-making, corporate restructuring, or growth strategy.
• Excellent communication skills with Board and external parties.

Job description

Drive growth and impact at KYM as our Strategy Manager. Lead key initiatives, uncover opportunities, and shape business decisions across finance, operations, and marketing. Be at the heart of strategic transformation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of capital redeployment opportunities across business units and new ventures.

• Evaluate and recommend divestment opportunities to optimize KYM’s portfolio.

• Develop investment theses aligned with the Group’s growth targets and war chest strategy.

• Oversee deal evaluation, due diligence, and post-merger integration.

• Collaborate with the Research Division to validate target pipelines and sector priorities.

• Structure and negotiate transactions alongside the Corporate Finance team.

• Prepare and present strategic options to the Investment Committee and the Board.

• Identify synergies between existing and acquired businesses to maximize shareholder value.

• Support transformation initiatives across both legacy and new growth businesses.

• Mentor junior staff (e.g., Strategy Associate) and build a capable Strategy team.

• Undertake additional assignments as required to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields; MBA/CFA preferred.

• 4 - 8 years’ experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, consulting, or private equity.

• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.

• Proven track record in deal‑making, corporate restructuring, or growth strategy.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (with Board and external parties).

• Ability to balance analytical depth with commercial judgment.
