Job summary

A leading property management firm is seeking a Leasing & Marketing Manager based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves developing leasing strategies to optimise occupancy, attracting new tenants, and managing lease negotiations. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in commercial property leasing, especially in office and retail sectors. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills are essential. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on achieving leasing targets and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial property leasing, specifically office towers and/or retail properties.
  • Strong understanding of the Kuala Lumpur commercial property market and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record in meeting leasing targets and managing commercial property portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies to optimise occupancy levels.
  • Identify and attract new tenants while maintaining relationships with existing ones.
  • Lead lease negotiations and renewals in line with market conditions.
  • Coordinate with authorities on operational matters including permits and insurance.
  • Work with marketing teams to promote vacant units.
  • Monitor market trends and competing properties.
  • Prepare regular leasing performance reports for management.
