A prominent event management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to oversee the execution of large-scale events. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operation across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in operations management, strong project management skills, and be proficient in both English and Mandarin. The position requires a disciplined approach to handle complex project timelines and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in operations, project management, or event operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience managing complex projects and tight timelines.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and report operational data.
• Comfortable working across different time zones when required.
• Experience in poker, gaming, esports, or live entertainment environments is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple event projects.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear action plans and monitor overall project progress.
• Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks or delays.
• Monitor project schedules to ensure internal teams and vendors stay aligned.
• Facilitate smooth collaboration between internal teams, partners, and vendors.
• Assist senior leadership and event directors with on-site coordination and execution control.
