Role Overview
The Strategic Brand & Partnerships Manager will lead LGSI’s brand positioning, strategic outreach, and ecosystem engagement agenda. This role sits at the intersection of business development, marketing, strategic communications, and thought leadership, translating LGSI’s investment thesis into compelling narratives and meaningful partnerships.
You will play a critical role in shaping LGSI’s identity as a purpose-led investment platform while enabling strategic relationships that drive visibility, influence, and catalytic capital.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Branding & Positioning
- Lead the development and execution of LGSI’s brand strategy and visual identity, ensuring alignment with LGSI’s mission, fund strategy, and organisational priorities.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication materials, investor decks, reports, the website, and public engagements.
- Build LGSI’s thought leadership presence through articles, media engagements, conferences, and speaking opportunities.
- Maintain brand governance and compliance, ensuring communications adhere to LGSI’s brand guidelines and sustainability disclosure standards.
2. Communications & Content Strategy
- Drive storytelling that connects LGSI’s investment pillars with measurable and authentic impact outcomes.
- Develop compelling multi-format content (social media, investor briefs, articles, ESG reports, campaign assets).
- Coordinate and manage the design, production, and publication of communication and marketing materials.
- Work closely with internal teams to translate technical investment insights into accessible narratives for partners, investors, and the wider ecosystem.
3. Ecosystem Engagement & Business Development
- Map, cultivate, and strengthen strategic relationships with investors, family offices, development finance institutions, corporates, and ecosystem partners.
- Support investor relations efforts, including narrative crafting that connects financial returns with sustainability outcomes.
- Prepare, maintain, and refine investor materials such as fund sheets, presentations, and periodic stakeholder updates.
- Represent LGSI at ecosystem events, dialogues, and partnership engagements to enhance visibility and trust in the LGSI brand.
- Track trends in ESG investing, sustainable finance, climate innovation, and circular economy models.
- Translate market insights into strategic recommendations, positioning opportunities, or potential partnership pipelines.
- Support Senior Management with inputs for pitch materials, partnership proposals, and grant submissions.
5. Internal Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with Investment, Sustainability, and Operations teams to ensure consistent messaging, brand alignment, and integration of impact data.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and delivery to ensure timely execution of branding, communications, and partnership initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth and quality of LGSI’s visibility and engagement across sustainability and investment networks.
- Number, depth, and strategic value of partnerships and investor engagements built per quarter.
- Consistency, clarity, and brand alignment of communication materials and public messaging.
- Recognition through media features, speaking engagements, or published content under the LGSI brand.
- Internal alignment and execution effectiveness across teams on branding and partnership initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in branding, strategic communications, partnerships, or related fields, ideally with exposure to financial services, ESG, sustainability, or corporate affairs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead branding and communication functions within a fast-paced, lean organisation.
- Strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in impact investing, sustainable finance, ESG, or startup/innovation ecosystems.
- Strong visual storytelling and design sensibility (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite).
- Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working with varied stakeholder groups—from investors to NGOs.
- Strategic thinker able to connect brand identity with investment impact and ecosystem influence.
