Role Description
The Strategic Brand & Partnerships Manager will lead LGG’s brand positioning, strategic outreach, and ecosystem engagement. This role sits at the crossroads of business development, marketing, strategic communications, and thought leadership, translating LGG’s business vision and sustainability mission into compelling narratives and meaningful partnerships.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping LGG’s identity as a purpose-driven, innovative leader in the plastics and sustainability ecosystem, while cultivating strategic relationships that enhance visibility, influence, and growth opportunities for the Group and its partners.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Branding & Positioning
- Lead the development and execution of LGSI’s brand strategy and visual identity, ensuring alignment with LGSI’s mission, fund strategy, and organisational priorities.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication materials, investor decks, reports, the website, and public engagements.
- Build LGSI’s thought leadership presence through articles, media engagements, conferences, and speaking opportunities.
Communications & Content Strategy
- Drive storytelling that connects LGSI’s investment pillars with measurable and authentic impact outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage the design, production, and publication of communication and marketing materials.
- Work closely with internal teams to translate technical investment insights into accessible narratives for partners, investors, and the wider ecosystem.
Ecosystem Engagement & Business Development
- Map, cultivate, and strengthen strategic relationships with investors, family offices, development finance institutions, corporates, and ecosystem partners.
- Support investor relations efforts, including narrative crafting that connects financial returns with sustainability outcomes.
- Prepare, maintain, and refine investor materials such as fund sheets, presentations, and periodic stakeholder updates.
- Represent LGSI at ecosystem events, dialogues, and partnership engagements to enhance visibility and trust in the LGSI brand.
- Track trends in ESG investing, sustainable finance, climate innovation, and circular economy models.
- Translate market insights into strategic recommendations, positioning opportunities, or potential partnership pipelines.
- Support Senior Management with inputs for pitch materials, partnership proposals, and grant submissions.
Internal Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with Investment, Sustainability, and Operations teams to ensure consistent messaging, brand alignment, and integration of impact data.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and delivery to ensure timely execution of branding, communications, and partnership initiatives.
- 5–8 years of experience in branding, strategic communications, partnerships, or related fields, ideally with exposure to financial services, ESG, sustainability, or corporate affairs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead branding and communication functions within a fast-paced, lean organization.
- Strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in branding, strategic communications, partnerships, or related fields, ideally with exposure to financial services, ESG, sustainability, or corporate affairs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead branding and communication functions within a fast-paced, lean organization.
- Strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in impact investing, sustainable finance, ESG, or startup/innovation ecosystems.
- Strong visual storytelling and design sensibility (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite).
- Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working with varied stakeholder groups—from investors to NGOs.
- Strategic thinker able to connect brand identity with investment impact and ecosystem influence.
