Job summary

A logistics and supply chain company in Malaysia seeks a Stock Controller to manage stock flow and maintain inventory records. Responsibilities include monitoring goods in and out, ensuring proper stock levels, and assisting with daily operations. Successful candidates should have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience or be fresh graduates with knowledge of inventory management. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with additional skills in Mandarin being an advantage. Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Control the flow of stock through the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper filling and safekeeping of inventory records.
  • Assist in daily routine tasks and carry out stock cycle counts.
  • Handle warehouse operations including Delivery Orders.

Skills

Knowledge of inventory management and stock control
Ability to operate warehouse-related software
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
Good organizational and time management skills

Job description

To control the flow of stock through a warehouse, monitoring goods in and out (stock controller).

Responsible to ensure proper filling and safekeeping of inventory records including avoid over, under-stocking of materials, protect materials from losses and damages.

Be involved in stock control and assist the management in daily routine tasks.

Carry out stock cycle count and housekeeping of the work area.

Handle warehouse operation: issue Delivery Order, receiving incoming/outgoing goods.

Responsible to liaise with logistic partners as and when required.

To perform other tasks as assigned by Superior.

Requirements

Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent. A diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in warehouse/storekeeping. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge may be considered.

Skills:

Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.

Ability to operate warehouse-related software or ERP systems is an added advantage.

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word).

Good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and carry materials as needed.

Personal Attributes: Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Language: Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Others: Willing to work overtime when required.
