Job summary

A logistics and inventory management firm in Johor is seeking a warehouse assistant to oversee stock management and maintain operational efficiency. You will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, assisting with daily operations, and ensuring proper inventory management. The ideal candidate has a secondary school qualification and at least three years of relevant experience, as well as proficiency in English and forklift operation. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work six days a week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods according to delivery orders.

Job description

In this position, you'll play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory & etc.

Job Description
  • Loading/ Unloading goods according to delivery order.
  • Assist in daily store, packing, picking, labelling, report, inventory and any operational activities.
  • Ensure proper stacking and storage of raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Ensure stocks are kept and arranged in orderly at the designated shelf and area.
  • Maintain the store area in clean and orderly manner.
  • Proper use of forklifts, regular inspection and servicing.
  • Do stock take as required.
  • Update all inventory in/ out into system and follow FIFO system.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Job Requirements
  • Min Secondary school qualification or above
  • Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP and etc.)
  • Able to read, write and converse in English
  • Forklift and warehousing experience preferred
  • Able to perform OT when required
  • Positive attitude and good attendance and punctuality
  • Able to work 6 working days (Monday-Saturday)
  • Perform data entry, filing system and paperwork.
  • Knowledge of proper inventory management.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse environment.
