We are seeking a Statistician to join the National Heart Association of Malaysia, based at our Kuala Lumpur office. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in analysing data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to support our medical research initiatives (National Cardiovascular Disease Database Registry).

What you'll be doing
  • Organise and analyse complex data sets to uncover meaningful patterns and trends
  • Develop and implement statistical models and techniques to support research projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret findings and present insights in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest statistical methods and tools to optimise data analysis and reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of research papers, presentations, and grant proposals
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences or a related quantitative field
  • Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and research methodology
  • Proficiency in using statistical software and programming languages such as R and SPSS
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
