A global technology company in Penang is seeking a Staff Specialist in Customer Service. The role involves managing interactions with key international accounts, requiring strong skills in both English and Japanese. Candidates must have 3-5 years of customer support experience, particularly in the semiconductor or automotive sectors. Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce is mandatory, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. This position aims to support the company’s growth within a dynamic supply chain environment.
Work as customer service representative with international key accounts in a modern, global Supply Chain environment
Proactive Order Management & close monitoring of order book and shipments
Ownership of end-to-end operational customer interaction and demand fulfillment
Strong Customer advocate whilst fostering company's best interests into account
Handle inbound B2B customer calls, email inquiries, requests with accuracy and on a timely manner
Participate in customer and project review meetings, understand customer profiles whilst supporting company’s growth and strategic targets
Professionally handle customer escalation and allocation scenarios
Collaborate and provide cross functional support in customer related matters in dynamic working environment
Minimum 3-5 years related working experience
Proven customer support experience in International Supply chain;
Semiconductor or Automotive industry experienced professionals preferred (Consignment / Scheduling Agreement skilled);
Good customer-facing skills, conversational proficiency and active listening;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction;
Entrepreneurial drive and with excellent problem-solving capabilities
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively,
Flextime availability required and ability to teamwork in a dynamic environment;
Must be fluent in business English and Japanese (able to read, write and speak)
Education status with Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
ERP (SAP) proficiency is mandatory
High proficiency in CRM (salesforce), EDI and Microsoft tools,
