Job summary

A healthcare provider in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse or Medical Assistant to manage day-to-day clinic operations, provide nursing care, and assist Doctors during procedures. Candidates must have at least a Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistant and be registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board. With at least 1 year of experience required, this role demands commitment, including weekend work. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety and manage stock control effectively.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Nursing or Medical Assistant.
• Registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board and possess a valid APC.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.

Job description

Organize and manage clinic day-to-day works, such as appointment scheduling, arranging cardiology roster, etc.

Provide effective nursing care to patients.

To dispense medication as per Doctors' prescription.

Assist Doctors during medical procedures such as stress test, Incision and drainage (I&D), vaccinations, EECP therapy, ECG, dressing, dripping and etc.

Ensure patient safety and execute appropriate action to ensure safe environment.

To assist in stock control and prepare stock report.

To perform other tasks as and when requested.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Nursing / Medical Assistant and prefer candidate with working experience in a position of similar capacity and responsibility.
• Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board and possess a valid APC (for Staff Nurse & Medical Assistant).
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience working at ICU / Cardiology will be added as advantage.
• Training of admin staff / allied health staff.
• Clinic is operating daily. Must willing to work on weekend.
