A leading technology company in Penang is seeking a Staff HRIS Analyst to provide functional support for SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors configuration, strong project management skills, and a minimum of 7 years in HR Technology. Responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert, developing system solutions, and leading project execution. We are looking for an Staff HRIS Analyst to join our team to provide functional support for a variety of project and enhancement requests related to SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP HCM, 3rd Party interfaces, and internal custom applications. The SuccessFactors Sr HRIS Analyst will report to HRIS Manager. The Human Resources Technology (HRT) team at AMD is recognized as a technical expert in providing creative, value-added system solutions to meet Human Resources business needs.

Serves as the subject matter expert and key advisor within SuccessFactors Employee Central and participates in projects and enhancements.
Provides SuccessFactors Employee Central support and performs system administration functions. Candidate should have strong knowledge in the following areas of Employee Central:
Role Based Permissions
Configuration SAP SuccessFactors Data Model (field level configuration) as well as leveraging MDF for customer-specific requirements
Reporting and analytics configuration
Managing UI screens and custom MDF (Meta Data Framework) portlets within Employee Profile
Position Management, MDF objects, and Foundation Objects
Configuring advanced Business Rules
Workflow Configuration and optimization
Configuration of Employee Central Time Off and Time Sheet configuration and maintenance (Time Types, Accruals, Rules)
Responsible for monitoring integrations and trouble‑shooting job failures.
Serves as the liaison between the COE Business Users and IT Team, to provide SAP HCM subject matter expertise to clarify requirements and system functionality.
Develops system solutions and processes to efficiently manage data entry, integration, and processes.
Responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of project and enhancement life cycle.
Ensure successful rollout and ongoing support of projects and enhancements.
Functions as a team member within the department and performs assigned duties efficiently.
Lead the design and configuration of SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring seamless integration with Onboarding 2.0 and other SuccessFactors modules such as Compensation, Performance Management, etc. and alignment with business requirements.
Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration is required
Proven expertise in SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 design and configuration is highly desired
Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing 3rd Party HR system interfaces
Experience with designing and configuring Story Reporting (embedded people analytics)
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and solution design skills
Ability to interpret HR systems technical and procedural documentation
Attention to detail and data analysis skills
Effective communication and documentation skills
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Minimum of 7 years of HR Technology experience
Experience with SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, Performance & Goals Management, Talent Management, Employee Central Time Off/Time Sheet, and Compensation Management a plus
Experience with implementation SuccessFactors HCM GenAI Features or working on AI related projects is highly desired, but not required
Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred
Successfactor Certification in Employee central.
