Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Klang City is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to assist in maintaining security systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Engineering related to safety and at least 3 years of factory operation experience. Responsibilities include conducting safety training, monitoring working areas for hazards, and ensuring compliance with ISO and company standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• Green Book Holder Registered with DOSH will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years factory operation experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in ISO procedures and documentations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of SSHE in maintaining security system.
• Monitor working area for noise, toxic and other hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company’s SSHE Requirements.
• Conduct safety training for staff and contractors.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To assist Head of SSHE in maintaining security system of the company.
• Well known of Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Factory & Machinery Act 1967 and other factory related legal requirements.
• Familiar with HIRARC / JSA /JHA and etc.
• Posing skills to deal with DOSH / DOE / BOMBA and etc.
• Familiar with JKKP/DOSH MyKKP System
• Enforce contractor / Transporters / Visitors for the compliance company’s SSHE Requirement.
• Assist in factory housekeeping.
• To assist Head of SHE in monitoring working area for noise, toxic and other hazards environment.
• To make arrangement for Scheduled Waste Disposal.
• Comply with all quality standards and requirements imposed by the Company and product specification required by local and international clients.
• To record and update ISO documents related to SHE.
• Able to conduct safety training to staffs/contractors and etc.
• Assist in managing Pest Control Management of the company.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
• Attend to internal /external Audit.
• To carry out any other task that may be assigned.

Qualifications
