We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sr Technical Support Engineer to join our team. Knowledge and experienced in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Xray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) is HIGHLY advantageous!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Technical Support & Service – Deliver on-site and remote troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to ensure equipment runs at peak performance.
- Installation & Commissioning – Manage setup, calibration, and start-up of advanced systems (AFM, Nano Indenters, Microscopes, Wafer Measurement, Contact Angle, De-capsulation Systems).
- Customer Partnership – Build strong relationships as a trusted advisor, supporting customers in achieving optimal system performance.
- Performance Monitoring – Track key KPIs (uptime, response time, MTBF, OEE) and drive improvements through proactive service.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with sales, applications, and engineering teams for seamless customer support.

What You’ll need to Succeed
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Biomedical Engineering — or in Science disciplines like Physics, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
- Knowledge and experience in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Xray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or equipment maintenance. Diploma holders with relevant working experience will also be considered.
- Experience with high-precision instruments (e.g., AFMs, Nano Indenters, De-capsulation Systems) is an advantage.
- Background in semiconductor, electronics, or materials industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll be working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively within Malaysia.
