Responsibilities

  • Create product or process drawings based on technical requirements.
  • Define intralogistics carriers, tooling & jigs for new product development.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for tooling and jigs readiness.
  • Support the DFM process from design to production line modification.
  • Manage product and process tooling and jigs related drawings.

Job description
Your Contribution
  • Able to create product or process drawings based on technical requirement.
  • Defining and designing intralogistics carriers, tooling & jigs during new product development stage.
  • Able to coordinate with external supplier for all the new products tooling and jigs readiness.
  • Supporting the DFM process from new product design to completed modification of production line.
  • Responsible for creation and management of all product and process tooling and jigs related drawings and geometrical specifications and maintain the designing list.
  • Evaluation of internal and external change requests to product or process with respect to geometrical implications
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple groups including Design, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Process Development to identify and improve tooling & jigs designing based on new process development feasibility.
  • Able to summarize complex problems with regards to new tooling and jigs design, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions.
  • Define and achieve sub-milestones for your projects within the larger timelines of the overall program needs.
  • Close collaboration with Manufacturing as new product and technology is transferred from R&D phase into production.
Your Profile
  • know how in CAD/CAM/NX/Solidworks software
  • know how in design mechanical parts.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes in optical or semiconductor industry.
  • Understanding the tolerances in order to best fit the product design
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teambuilding skills.
  • Target driven personality with high execution focus
  • >5 years experience in the field of mechanical designing within the semiconductor or optical industry.
  • BSc/MSC/PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering
