Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead & Coach: Supervise and guide the Specification Specialist team to deliver on specification and sales activities, ensuring KPIs and targets are met.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor and track specification pipelines and conversion rates to align with company sales objectives.
  • Strategy Execution: Develop and implement segment strategies and stakeholder engagement programs to promote the company's products and sustain a robust spec-to-sales pipeline.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Plan and oversee technical talks and presentations for architects, consultants, engineers (AEC), quantity surveyors (QS), and building owners.
  • Upselling & Negotiation: Promote premium products and solutions, manage technical negotiations, and ensure successful specification conversions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Represent the company as an SME in assigned construction sub‑segments, collaborating internally to develop best practices and tailored solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related disciplines (Metallurgy, Chemical, Civil, Structural).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a specifier, specification specialist, key account manager, or similar role.
  • Proven experience managing a team of specifiers or sales professionals.
  • Strong background in technical and consultative selling (preferred).
  • Experience in the building and construction industry is an advantage.
