Job description
Responsibilities
  • To assist Manager, Farm in carrying out the managerial functions of planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling of farm and hatchery operations and production (Pullet, Layers, Eco‑centre and Plantation)
  • To assist Manager, Farm leading the management team to comply with the criteria set by the Department of Veterinary Services for the continual certification of MyGAP (Malaysia Good Agricultural Practices)
  • To assist Manager, Farm to lead the management to implement and continually improve the Quality Management System for continued ISO 9001 certification
  • To assist Manager, Farm to direct and coordinate work in the farm and with other members of the Farm team
  • Communicate and coordinate with suppliers of livestock, equipment and services, as and when required
  • To assist Manager, Farm to appraise manpower performance and recommend training, career development and staff remuneration
Person Specifications
Education & Qualification
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry, Animal Science or equivalent
Relevant Experience & Years of Service
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience at Farm Management / Operations level
  • Able to make and assess personal/team decisions and align actions with organization’s vision and mission
