Sourcing & Procurement Specialist – BOM, Equipment, and Spare Parts

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and procurement of direct materials, equipment, and spare parts. The role encompasses implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to meet production and operational requirements. This position will work closely with global and local teams to optimize costs, maintain quality, and ensure timely delivery of all materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement global and site-level sourcing strategies for BOM materials, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Collaborate with Global Sourcing Managers and cross-functional teams to meet key business needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Conduct negotiations and procure materials, equipment, and spare parts under Purchase Orders, contracts, and agreements (e.g., Consignment,MI).
  • Prepare yearly budgets and AOPs for BOM, equipment, and spare parts procurement.
  • Source raw materials, equipment, and spare parts from local and international suppliers at the most favorable terms.
  • Lead cross-functional cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure supply continuity during production ramp-ups, slowdowns, and product lifecycle transitions.
  • Coordinate development-related projects, including qualification samples and supplier communications.
  • Ensure P2P compliance, including payment coordination and issue resolution.
  • Monitor vendor performance through SRS (Supplier Rating System) and regular review meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years and above of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
  • Experience in BOM, equipment, and/or spare parts procurement in semiconductor, electrical, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and sourcing best practices.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong business acumen.
