The Senior Manager, Solution Architecture is responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end solution architectures that translate business requirements and enterprise architecture direction into secure, scalable, and delivery-ready solutions. This role operates within an EA–SA–Delivery operating model and acts as the bridge between enterprise direction and delivery execution. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial services technology, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Strategy Development and Execution
- Assist the Head of IT Strategy in defining and refining the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of a multi-year IT roadmap, including prioritization of initiatives and resource allocation.
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture design aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
- Translate business and enterprise requirements into scalable solution designs.
- Ensure delivery-ready architecture addressing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and govern API, middleware, and event-driven architecture.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise integration standards.
- Design AWS-based and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Optimize cost, security, scalability, and resilience.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business units, IT teams, and senior leadership to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technology strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, align priorities, and communicate strategic plans.
- Act as a liaison between the IT Strategy team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Governance and Compliance
- Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and ensure compliance with standards.
- Support the development and enforcement of IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in audit management activities related to IT, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and disaster recovery.
Job requirement (education & experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT strategy, technology consulting, or a related field, with at least 3 years in an architecture leadership role.
- Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing complex IT projects and initiatives.
- Architecture or AWS Certification is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
