Overview

Arus Spektrum Sdn Bhd is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to join our team based in Shah Alam, Selangor. This contract role will play a crucial part in the development and implementation of solar PV projects. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of our solar projects, from design and planning to installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the viability of potential solar PV projects
• Designing solar PV systems, including selecting appropriate components and equipment
• Preparing project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of solar PV projects
• Overseeing the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems, ensuring they meet all technical and safety standards
• Providing technical support and guidance to project teams/installers throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitoring and optimising the performance of installed solar PV systems
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of solar PV system

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV project engineering or a similar role with minimum of 500kW rooftop project
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV system design, installation, and operation
• Proficiency in project management and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
