Job description

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering field.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in solar PV system design or project execution (fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions).

Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).

Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar power principles.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of energy storage systems (batteries, inverters).

Familiarity with TNB grid connection application and SEDA documentation.

Site experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Develop solar PV system designs including layout drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), and electrical schematics.

Perform system sizing, energy yield estimation, and component selection (modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, etc.).

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation for tenders and installations.

Project Planning & Execution

Support project planning including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost estimation.

Coordinate site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical site surveys.

Oversee installation progress to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications.

Provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams during construction and commissioning.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Conduct system testing, inspection, and commissioning to verify performance.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for project handover.

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and authorities for project approvals and updates.

Support after-sales service teams in troubleshooting and performance analysis.
