Working Location

Fully in office; Mon - Fri, 9am - 5.30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, test, analyse, and maintain web-based applications.
• Understand business requirements and produce clear, detailed technical specifications.
• Code, test, debug, and document software according to internal standards.
• Assist in integration testing and resolve identified issues.
• Prepare documentation, share programming best practices, and support junior developers.
• Continuously update skills in application development and related technologies.

Oracle Development

• Analyse, develop, unit test, and maintain backend applications using PL/SQL.
• Ensure clarity of specifications and follow standard coding practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through debugging and investigation.
• Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and correctness.
• Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior team members.
• Continuously enhance knowledge in Oracle development and backend technologies.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience in Java web application development (Java EE).
• Proficient in Java, SQL, JSP, Servlets, JSF, EJB, JDBC, JPA.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of JBoss/WebLogic, Eclipse, and version control tools (CVS/SVN/GIT).
• Working experience with Oracle database is an advantage.

For Oracle Developer

• Strong PL/SQL coding experience (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, materialized views).
• Experience with bulk collections, dynamic SQL, parallel processing.
• Skilled in system analysis, backend development, and database design.
• Experience in performance tuning and data modelling.
• Ability to write and debug shell scripts.
