Responsibilities

• Execute and contribute to the development and implementation of software solutions in alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups and restores.
• Design, implement and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions.
• Handle data integration between MES and other systems such as ERP and WMS.
• Provide daily operational support and troubleshooting to ensure stable and efficient MES operations.
• Collaborate with System Analysts to produce and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, training materials, and user manuals to ensure effective system utilization.
• Support the configuration, customization and integration of the MES system to meet engineering, business and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of working experience as an MES engineer.
• Proficient in working with PL/SQL and MSSQL databases.
• Knowledge or experience working with RESTful APIs is highly desired.
• Language requirements: English, Chinese and Malay. Must be proficient in Chinese to support daily communication with Chinese clients.
