Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project. The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches. The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. The selected resource will be working in a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 application support, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver permanent fixes for production issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain application components using .NET technologies and MS-SQL.
• Implement small to medium enhancements based on change requests and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management and Advisory teams to align solutions with client portfolio management needs.
• Participate in DevOps activities, including build and deployment automation, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and compliance standards.
• Maintain documentation for code changes, release notes, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with L2/L1 teams for escalation handling and technical guidance.
• Ensure secure coding, testing, and release management as per organizational policies.

SKILLS

Must have

• 3-5 years of expertise in .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL development, with a focus on troubleshooting and debugging.
• Proficient in MS-SQL database management, including complex query optimization and performance tuning.
• Solid experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipeline management.
• Deep understanding of Investments & Wealth domain knowledge, especially investment advisory services.
• Experience supporting core banking systems in production environments, analyzing and resolving critical issues.
• Familiar with open systems and Windows OS environments.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between cross-functional teams and support levels.
