Job Title: Software Developer and IT Security Engineer

Location: [Remote/Hybrid] – primarily based in Malaysia

Type: Full-Time

We recently spin‑off an award‑winning technology SaaS company and are inviting talent from around the region to join us.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a professional to support our ISO27001 implementation, support the software development team in web application, and manage day‑to‑day IT operations for internal staff.

  1. Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO 27001 (supported by technology platform)
    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and operationalising information security policies and procedures
    • Coordinate evidence collection and readiness for audits
    • Track non‑conformities and remediation actions
  2. Software Development
    • You’ll develop and maintain a scalable, secure, and user‑friendly SaaS platform that empowers organizations to assess and mitigate risks. This involves front‑end and back‑end components of the web application
    • Security hardening of web application
  3. IT Infrastructure Management
    • Manage and maintain internal IT infrastructure e.g. Staff laptops and Endpoint security
    • Provide first‑line support for internal IT and security‑related issues
    • Security Operations & Incident Support
  4. Any other ad‑hoc duties as required
Requirements
Technical & Professional Requirements
  • Experience with modern front‑end frameworks and back‑end technologies
  • Practical experience with:
    • SaaS or cloud‑based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent)
    • Endpoint management and device security
    • Identity and access management (IAM)
Experience & Background
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT security and full stack development
  • Experience in a technology, SaaS, or regulated environment is strongly preferred
Soft Skills & Attributes3>
  • Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and execution‑focused
  • Able to translate security requirements into practical, workable controls
  • Strong documentation and follow‑through skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degrees
