A dynamic food company in Penang is seeking a social media execution support person who will assist in managing content for platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Responsibilities include creating engaging content, community management, supporting promotions, and tracking campaign performance. Ideal candidates will have a degree in marketing or related fields and 1–2 years of experience in social media management. A passion for content creation and strong communication skills are essential.
1. Social Media Execution Support: Assist in managing content publishing for assigned social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Follow the content calendar prepared by the Executive and ensure timely posting. Support organic content activities to drive page engagement and awareness.
2. Content Creation & Coordination: Create engaging content such as product posts, lifestyle visuals, and short-form videos. Assist in basic photo/video shoots, editing, and adaptation for various platforms. Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and approval flow.
3. Community Management: Monitor comments, inboxes, and hashtags daily to maintain active audience interaction. Escalate complaints, sensitive inquiries, or potential PR risks to the Executive. Identify opportunities for reposting UGC to encourage community connection.
4. Campaign Assistance: Support social activities for promotions, contests, roadshows, and launches. Assist in influencer coordination and content follow-up where required. Help track simple campaign KPIs and brand engagement.
5. Social Media Reporting Support: Assist in capturing monthly performance data: reach, engagement, follower growth, etc. Provide basic insights and observations to enhance future content planning.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with creative agencies, promoters, and internal teams for content materials and information. Ensure accurate and consistent campaign messaging across assigned platforms.
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Multimedia, Communications or related fields.
1–2 years of experience in social media management or content creation (fresh graduates with strong portfolio may be considered).
Basic knowledge of social media platforms & posting tools (FB/IG/TikTok).
Skilled in simple design and editing software (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
Passion for content creation, photography, and video storytelling.
Good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn.
