Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in social media marketing or content management.
- Strong understanding of TikTok algorithms, ad rules, and content creation best practices.
- Experience handling sensitive or regulated industries (e.g., recruitment, HR, finance, or education) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling and video editing skills.
- Confident, outgoing personality — able to appear on camera and represent the company positively if required.
- Proficient in Malay and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple campaigns at once.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who understands social media platforms deeply, especially how to work within their policies and restrictions for recruitment-related content. The ideal candidate will take charge of all company social media channels — mainly TikTok, but also Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Channel — to build brand awareness, attract job seekers, and support recruitment campaigns.
This role requires a creative, outgoing, and self-driven individual who can strategize, produce content, and engage audiences while maintaining compliance with platform rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute social media strategies to promote company brand and recruitment campaigns.
- Manage and grow official social media accounts: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Channel.
- Understand and comply with each platform’s policies, community guidelines, and ad restrictions, especially for recruitment-related content.
- Create engaging and creative video and graphic content suitable for each platform (e.g., TikTok videos, Reels, and story updates).
- Work closely with the recruitment team to highlight available job openings in a compliant and attractive way.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Respond to messages, comments, and community interactions when needed.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with management to ensure all public content aligns with company branding and legal requirements (PDPA, employment regulations, etc.).
