A leading FMCG company in Malaysia seeks a skilled content creator to develop engaging social media content across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. The role involves video production, community engagement, and managing content calendars. Develop and produce high-quality, engaging content (photos, short-form video, Reels/TikToks, Stories, graphics & etc) tailored for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, XHS & etc.
Execute end-to-end video production: concepting, shooting, editing, and publishing.
Maintain a consistent, on-brand visual identity and tone of voice across all channels.
Develop and manage the social media content calendar in alignment with marketing campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal moments.
Foster and grow an engaged online community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, authentic brand voice.
Collaborate with influencers and content creators, from outreach to briefing and content amplification.
Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, website clicks, conversion) weekly and monthly.
Use data insights to optimize content strategy, posting times, and creative approach for maximum performance.
Requirement:
2-4 years of proven experience as a content creator, social media manager, or similar role, preferably within FMCG, food & beverage, or retail.
A portfolio that showcases exceptional skills in creating engaging social-first content (especially video). Please provide links.
Proficiency in content creation and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere Pro/Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, InShot, Final Cut Pro).
Deep, native understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences, and best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest).
