Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to provide engineering support for PCBA manufacturing. Responsibilities include leading lean manufacturing improvements and resolving equipment issues. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering. Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are accepted; working experience in SMT Chip placement equipment or PCB assembly manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Well versed with statistical tools, IOT, Industry 4.0.

Responsibilities

• Provide PCBA manufacturing equipment engineering support.
• Lead project improvement on Lean manufacturing/OEE/Operation efficiency.
• Setup Work Instruction, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Preventive Maintenance and Training related to SMT equipment operation.
• Work with external suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to equipment and manufacturing process.
• Continuous equipment and manufacturing operation process improvement.
• Provide technical support to value stream team to achieve business and quality indices.
