Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking an IT professional to support and maintain Production IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Production IT. Key responsibilities include managing system-related service level agreements and acting as a project expert in Smart Manufacturing initiatives. Excellent English and interpersonal skills are essential.

Job description

Responsibilities

Administrates, supports and maintains Production IT systems in close exchange with central and internal teams as well as external suppliers/service providers. Acts as system expert of dedicated Production IT systems and applications.

Contributes to plan and develop the Production IT environment/architecture in line with the overall IT/OT Smart Manufacturing roadmap and application portfolio;

Actively acts in projects as Production IT expert (manufacturing applications of MES, SPC, CAx, Worker Guidance, dSFM etc.) in the context of Smart Manufacturing and Operations Technology 4.0.

Promotes new methods of data analytics (Big Data, Machine Learning) as well as vertical and horizontal machine connectivity and integration.

Manages the Production IT system-related Service Level Agreements and ensures that the documentation on IT/OT products is up-to-date. Ensures the current, technical and economic status of OT products including Security Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Technology and/or Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in Production IT relevant fields, developing and conducting IT services and complex operational services. Experience in handling internal and external IT/OT service providers
• Excellent command of the English language, interpersonal and social skills, project management skills, presentation skills, OT & LEAN knowledge
