Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks, and coordinate site activities with workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, workmanship, and safety compliance; escalate issues to the Senior Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Enforce site safety rules, PPE usage, and lifting/working-at-height protocols.
• Record daily manpower, materials, and progress reports accurately.
• Coordinate material deliveries, machinery movements, and work access.
• Support QA/QC, WIR preparation, inspection readiness, and lifting checklists.
• Maintain site housekeeping and ensure proper handling of tools and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Site Supervisor or Project Manager.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Candidates without formal qualifications but with minimum 3 years of site experience may be considered.
• Safety training certifications (Construction Safety Awareness, Work-at-Height, Rigging & Slinging, Scaffolding, MEWP) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in site operations or supervision, preferably in civil, structural, architectural, MEP, or landscaping works.
• Able to read drawings, coordinate site works, and lead general workers/subcontractors.
• Familiar with permit-to-work systems, lifting activities, and basic site logistics.
• Physically fit, willing to work extended hours, responsible and detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage.
• Able to use basic MS Word/reporting tools.
